I recently stayed at Mare St. Clair, and despite some ups and downs, I had a pleasant experience overall. The location is top-notch, right on Isla Verde Beach, with easy access to restaurants and shops. My room was clean and comfortable, but could definitely use some deep cleaning and modernization. Service was generally good, although I encountered a few hiccups. The facilities were decent, but it would have been nice to enjoy a fully operational pool.

The hotel has potential with updated rooms and a nice view, but unfortunately, there are several maintenance issues that need addressing. While the location offers easy access to the beach and nearby amenities, the lack of functioning services and facilities is quite disappointing. The dining experience was good, and I enjoyed the breakfast, but the overall experience was marred by issues such as broken elevators and a non-functional pool.
